On September 10, 2017, a celebrated Sunday Mass was held at the University of Santo Tomas-Santa Rosa campus near Nuvali by UST Rector Very Rev. Fr. Herminio V. Dagohoy O.P., as the Main Presider. UST in Santa Rosa is the newest campus of UST outside España, Manila.

Did you know that the Philippines is home to the oldest university in Asia? And when it comes to population, the same university holds the record of being the most prominent Catholic University globally.
That institution is no other than the University of Santo Tomas (UST), founded on April 28, 1611, by the third Archbishop of Manila, Miguel de Benavides, with Father Domingo de Nieva, and Father Bernardo de Santa Catalina.
The 40-hectare UST in Santa Rosa, Laguna campus near Nuvali is located at 732P+JR7, Don Jose, Santa Rosa, Laguna. There is an ongoing construction of a PHP 100 million innovation hub at UST Santa Rosa, the Tony Tan Caktiong Innovation Center – a three-story structure. It will be an annex of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)- TomasINNO Center.

Although the site development plan was finished as early as 2016, the fact that it was caught up during the transition made the actual development take a bit longer than expected.
UST in Santa Rosa offers undergraduate science and engineering programs on a 40-hectare campus in Laguna. Campus construction officially began on April 19, 2006, led by then-UST rector Tamerlane Lana and attended by tycoon Lucio Tan, a board member of UST. However, the development of the campus has been delayed for several years due to administration changes, the Quadricentennial Celebration in 2011, and priority given to the construction projects in the main campus.

Herminio Dagohoy, then the university rector, led the second groundbreaking ceremony on September 10, 2017. Building on the campus began in December 2020 with the UST-Dr Tony Tan Caktiong Innovation Center. It was named for Tony Tan Caktiong, an alumnus and the founder of Jollibee Foods Corporation. The center will be part of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-TomasINNO Center.

2. Only students presently enrolled in Grade 12, and senior high school in Grade 10 can apply.
1. Students who have passed the Philippine Educational Placement Test or Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (the PEPT/ALS A&E certificate is necessary)
2. Those who have graduated or completed previous school years (original Form 138-Report Card is important)
3. Students from foreign schools are required to submit Form 137-Transcript of Records
*ACR I-CARD and passport required for foreigners graduating from local schools
*Applicants to colleges have the option of choosing two programs.
*Senior High School applicants may choose one track/strand.
Senior High School students who participate in these programs prepare themselves for employment, business, or further education. Make sure the track/strand you choose aligns with your college plans or career goals.

Applicants prefer to be accepted to this program. They intend to advance their knowledge and skills in this area as it is their primary focus.
If the applicant does not meet the criteria of their priority program, they will be considered in this program subject to the requirements set by the College. Applicants who qualify for their priority program are no longer eligible for the alternative program.
*Admission to some colleges is not solely dependent on passing the USTAR. Colleges may also require additional entry assessments, including interviews, talent tests (e.g., auditions, drawings), or any other similar activities.

3. Php 1,000.00 – for international students studying in the Philippines
4. Php 3,000.00 – for LEAPMed Applicants
5. USD 30.00 or Php 1,650.00 – for international students studying abroad
6. USD 50.00 or Php 2,750.00 – Through International Credentials
*The application fees of applicants for College or SHS on the list of the TOP 10 students in their class (based on their academic standing in Grade 11 and Grade 9, respectively) may be waived if the school principal certifies their academic standing. Only students who come from public schools in the Philippines are eligible for this program.

Generally, tuition fees for colleges range from PHP 50,000 to 60,000 per semester. While for Junior High School, it is approximately PHP 100,000 per year.
