University of Southeastern Philippines, commonly referred to as USEP, was one of the top schools in Davao City. Nikkei Jin-Kai is a private non sectarian international school. It is the only school in Davao City that teaches culture in all their education curriculum levels from pre-school to college level. Those who want to study the Japanese language exclusively can also enroll here.
The school originally started as a school for Japanese descendants that resides in Davao City. Now, it grew to become an institution for students wanting to learn the Japanese language or finish their education. Today, the school is recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and already received proper accreditation status from official institutions.

Philippine Women’s College of Davao (PWC) is a respected institution with a long history. This college opened in 1953 as one of the outside campuses of the famous Philippine Women’s University (PWU) in Manila.
PWU’s tertiary education used to an exclusive all-girls school butwas reformed during the 1970s. The current Vice-President of the Philippines, Sarah Duterte, is an alumni of this school along with other notable people in the country.
