South Luzon Expressway (SLEX)

South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) is one of the major road networks connected to Tagaytay through the Santa Rosa – Tagaytay Road. The national expressway has a total length of 46.9 kilometers and starts at Magallanes Interchange in Makati and ends at its southern terminus at Santo Tomas, Batangas.

It is currently comprised of three toll roads, the first one starting at Makati and ending in Alabang, Muntinlupa, running under the Skyway. Toll Road 1 has a length of 13.43 kilometers passing through different cities south of Metro Manila.

Toll Road 2, on the other hand, starts at Filinvest Exit and ends at Calamba Exit in Laguna. By going through Sta. Rosa Exit, CALAX Exit, or Greenfield City Exit, commuters can reach Santa Rosa – Tagaytay Road to go to Tagaytay City.

From Calamba Exit, Toll Road 3 runs to connect Laguna to Santo Tomas Batangas. The ongoing construction of Toll Road 4 will connect Batangas to Lucena City. Other future plans also include extending SLEX from Lucena to Sorsogon with Toll Road 5.

Emilio Aguinaldo Highway

Also known as Cavite-Batangas Road, Emilio Aguinaldo Highway is a four-to-six lane network of highways that pass through different towns in Cavite. It stretches up to 41.4 kilometers and is comprised of primary and secondary highways.

Connecting Cavite province and Batangas, Tagaytay – Nasugbu Highway is a road network that passes through different towns in Tagaytay and Nasugbu. This roadstarts at Tagaytay Rotunda, which also intersects with Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay-Calamba Road, and Tagaytay-Talisay Road.

From there, the road runs west passing through different municipalities such as Alfonso, Calaca, and Tuy. This road can be taken by travelers coming to and from Batangas.
