Gardens at Crosswinds Event a Success!

Brittany Corporation's Crosswinds, at the forefront in the high-end segment of the real estate housing development sector, recently concluded the Gardens at Crosswinds which aimed to beautify five different areas within the Swiss-inspired luxury resort. Five professional landscape artists drew lots to determine the area they would design from the choices namely The Sales Office, The Christmas Store, Delemont Model Unit, The Christmas Village, and the Montreux Gardens View Deck.

From the beautifully landscaped areas and awe-inspiring fusions of architecture and landscape, Fred Salud, who redesigned the Delemont Model Unit, took home the grand prize of P100,000 last October 1. Salud is known to grow exotic plants and has also been a member of the board of directors of the Philippine Orchid Society and Philippine Horticultural Society.

The exclusive first preview of the full floral display was held and judged by a distinguished panel of judges, including Camille Villar, Chief Operating Officer for Brittany Corporation; Jing Serrano, Group Head for Brittany and Crown Asia; Mary Lee Sadiasa, Chief Operating Officer of Crown Asia; Kuh Ledesma, a long-time advocate of the environment known to have supported various projects, and Dr. Fernando Sanchez, Jr. Participants who took part in this event included Rolita V. Spowart, former President of the Philippine Orchid Society who is currently an officer in the organization and the owner of VS Orchids; Rex Puentespina, former Vice President of the Philippine Orchid Society who also owns Waling Waling Flowers, an importer of flowers from the Netherlands; Myrna Frago, owner of Forestwoods; and Vicent Ma. Jose Ferrer, from My Mother's Garden, pioneering as a supplier and exporter of natural colored pebble stones which are exported internationally.
